	Art and Writing: A Creative Encounter April 27-May 29  Opening reception: Friday, April 27, 5:30-7:30 pm	Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, poet laureate of Virginia from 2006-2008, will conduct an ekphrastic poetry workshop at BSSS on March 27. Ekphrastic writing is poetry or prose written in response to visual art. The poetry generated in the workshop will be exhibited along side the paintings that inspired it.
