If you want to learn the secrets of working collage artists, and successfully build fascinating professional-level collages, this workshop will jump-start your skill set. This course can be viewed as the logical next course for those who have completed Chris Watts’ ABSTRACT Mixed Media workshop, but it is designed for ALL CREATORS who love collage. Beginners are welcome! Chris will teach you all she knows about designing papers and collage-making, like her signature “tie-dyed” papers and her system for “storyboarding” collages to simplify the otherwise complex designing process. You choose your own goals and outcome in this workshop. Will you display your finished collages in a white mat ready to frame, or will you build your collages on ready-to-hang cradleboards. You can do both in this workshop! Chris will take you through all the steps. As always, Chris furnishes you with a great “starter kit” of goodies and shares her studio supplies with you to help shorten and simplify your materials list.
