PAINTING IN OILS – EXPRESSIVE BRUSHWORK AND PALETTE KNIFE

Learn to create paintings that reflect a loose and expressive style while maintaining the elements of good design. Lynn will share her approaches to establish a successful composition, mix harmonious color notes, and to loosen up brushwork and palette knife work. Exercises will focus on exploring the essentials and stretching our use of the media. Oil painters and acrylic painters of all levels will benefit from this workshop. All instruction will be in oil and will include painting demonstrations by the instructor. Students should expect to paint from both still life setups and photographic reference.
