In this 4-week class, beginner through advanced-level students will work on building, rebuilding, or practicing a solid foundation of color theory as it applies to the color of light and shadow in observational drawing of the human figure. Working with the observed life model, students will have instructor support to go through the stages of building a strong base drawing and layering colors to better understand and render the perceived colors of light. Each class day includes verbal explanations and demonstration of techniques by the instructor. Each student will also receive personalized feedback, depending on their own skill level and needs.
