We invite you (and your freinds!) to attend, learn and meet other like-minded artenthusiasts. This event has limited space. Although registration is not required, for planning purposes please let us know if you are planning to attend.

Brian Rego, a visiting artist from South Carolina, will speak on Friday, October 6 from 6-7 pm. His lecture, “Spatial Influence,” will introduce his most recent work and be used as a platform to discuss different ways of thinking about space. Brian teaches drawing and painting at the University of South Carolina and the Melrose School of Art. We are excited to welcome him back for a second BSSS workshop.

Matt Klos, who lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland is a painter of interiors and plein air landscapes and a full-time art teacher at Anne Arundel Community College. Matt’s talk, “An Integrated Practice,” will cover the various modes he’s been working in over the past few years. This lecture will be held on Saturday, October 7 from 6-7 pm. Matt has taught three workshops at BSSS and was our featured artist during last years “Artist’s Palate Dinner.”

Both artists are professional, charismatic and passionate about ART. They are also both members of the “Perceptual Painters” group that “explores contemporary observational painting with some type of modernistic view.” (www.perceptualpainters.com).
