This class will meet plein air for five weeks at a variety of different locations around Staunton. In the class we will work on how to approach the challenges of drawing landscapes from life, ranging from sophisticated composition to what to do when it starts raining. A special emphasis will be given to achieving a sense of distance, light and how to “explore” a landscape rather than simply trying to copy it.
Locations TBD, but may include Gypsy Hill Park and Montgomery Hill Park.
